Vildmark Studio is initiator and project lead for Pop-Up Kitchen: a place where culinary and creative Southern Småland meet. A place for culture, learning, organizational development and entrepreneurship. Through a collaboration with Emmaboda Kommun and The Glass Factory in Boda, and with finacial support from Sydost Leader, Jordbruksverket and the European Union - Pop-Up Kitchen opened festively on 24th of April 2025.

Just in the first months of April and May 2025 Pop-Up Kitchen attracted more than 450 visitors through the opening celebration, Creative Fridays, a Pecha Kucha event, a workshop with Farbror Grön, several annual meetings and group bookings. A promising start for this new meeting place.

Together with the physical place a network is being built, called Matkollektivet. The aim of the project is to support and celebrate farmers, chefs and food artisans that work with sustainable local food production, help them find their markets and strengthen the overall food culture of the region. Pop-Up Kitchen can be rented by Matkollektivet for events, product development, workshops and courses.

Pop-Up Kitchen as a project ccntinues and until early 2027 with the aim of becoming a sustainable and independent actor after the project period.
